An award-winning journalist and fledgling media critic Jason Turcotte, founder of MediaMyopic, is a graduate of Roger Williams University, where he earned a BA in Communications and Political Science, and also worked as editor of the student-run newspaper. He has experience covering crime, politics and education for a variety of Rhode Island-based publications. Today he covers real estate and development for a trade publication in Manhattan, while pursuing a Master’s degree in Media, Culture and Communication at New York University, where he specifically focuses on political and persuasive communication.
